The Institute has positions for graduate and undergraduate research assistants to work with IPR faculty fellows and associates, in addition to postdoctoral fellows.

The IPR Summer Undergraduate Research Assistants Program aims to give undergraduate students a real experience in conceptualizing and conducting policy-relevant social science research with an IPR faculty mentor. IPR employs a small number of undergraduate students during the academic year who are typically eligible for federal work-study positions. Work-study responsibilities include assisting the communications department and research-related activities, as well as administrative work. IPR work-study jobs are posted on Northwestern's Work Study website.
