Policy Fellows Program
Current and former policymakers hold valuable knowledge about how decisions are made and put into action—insights that are essential for translating research into effective policy. The Policy Fellows Program provides a platform to bring these insights into conversation with IPR researchers.
Through this program, IPR brings experienced members of the policy world to campus to share how research is used to inform policy. Fellows come from diverse policy contexts including from local and state government, Congress, think tanks, and non-governmental organizations.
Over their visit on Northwestern’s Evanston Campus, policy fellows take part in discussions with IPR faculty experts and students to help them better understand the evidence-to-policy pipeline and how to better transmit their research findings to those in the policy world.
